Tanker QI CHENG XIAN FENG ran onto breakwater in Yangtze Estuary in the morning Dec 4, suffering hull breaches. Judging from photos, tanker sank with stern resting on bottom. SAR ship DONG HAI JIU 102 (IMO 9774082) rescued all 9 crew, prior to abandoning tanker, they reportedly, managed to seal all valves, pipes and cargo tanks, to avoid oil spill.
