Cruise ship CARNIVAL DREAM lost a lifeboat which broke off davits and fell into water while the ship was under way in Gulf of Mexico on Dec 30. Accident didn’t affect ship’s itinerary. Lifeboat was checked but couldn’t be hoisted back to place, and was left drifting. On photos taken by passengers damaged lifeboat.
